About Us
Australian Insulation Foundation Ltd (AIF) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to connecting with low-income Australian families providing them with thermal insulation to improve their indoor thermal temperature, promoting healthier equality of living.
Thermal insulation will reduce their energy cost by at least $600 per year giving them more money to use for important things like food and medical expenses.
It will create jobs! There are as many as 50,000 social houses in WA and many of them are uninsulated, it’s going to take a lot of people to help us insulate these homes, creating many jobs for our state. We are focused to give the long term unemployed opportunity to gain work.
AIF exists to make a difference, not a profit. AIF is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as advancing social or public welfare,
with GST concessions, income tax exemptions and FBT rebate.
Our Vision
Australian Insulation foundation aims to provide free thermal insulation for tenants residing in Social Housing, both in rural and urban areas. The results will be to improve the quality of life for these individuals, their health (less medical attendance), better employment (more rested), more educational benefits (sleep better) and economic improvement (lessened energy cost).
Our Mission
AIF aims to be self-funded; aims to provide quality thermal insulation, to gain high regard in the community and with promotion raise our profile to gain maximum community support for gaining funding through sales of carbon credits and sales from our insulation services. We want to maintain high integrity in our business and social activities.
